Carlie Care Kids uses Frogstreet Curriculum for Infants thru Pre-K4. Frogstreet is a research based curriculum designed to target the develpmental and academic needs of each age group. Kindergarten children will be using the Common Core Curriculum for the 2019-2020 School Year.
Carlie Care Kids adhere to classroom ratio guidelines provided by the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services. They are as follows: Under 12 months - 5:1; One Year Old Class - 7:1; Two Year Old Class - 11:1; Three Year Old Class - 13:1; Four Year Old Class- 15:1; Five Year Old Class - 19:1; Six Years and Up - 23:1.
Before and after school services are offered for Pre-K4, Kindergarden and First Grade students for a fee of $35 one way or $45 for both before and after school care. All other students are exempt from these fees.
Carlie Care Kids adhere to a uniform policy. Children are required to wear navy blue or khaki bottoms. Green uniform shirts with our school logo can be purchased at L&L Alexis Uniform and Embroidery. Students may wear closed toe shoes of your chosing, however shoes with lights are strictly prohibited.
Carlie Care Kids offers two, full nutritious meals as well as a healthy snack. CCK follows the nutritional guidelines established by the Louisiana Department of Food and Nutrition. We will accomodate special dietary needs due to religious or health reasons. Special dietary needs due to health reasons will require a doctor's note.
Carlie Care Kids DOES NOT offer any transportation services.
We accept cash, check and money orders. We DO NOT accept any credit or debit cards.
Carlie Care Kids utilizes classroom and campus video monitoring for safety and observational reasons. However, parents are not allowed remote access.
We welcome all who inquire about our services the opportunuty to tour our campus. Tours are offered Monday-Thursday, 9:30 am - 10:00 am.
We welcome parents of actively enrolled students to visit the classrooms at any time. Parents must sign in at the front office before entering the classrooms.
